Join the Volunteer Army

Join Us - We are currently looking for volunteer's across the club!

The committee meet monthly and take care of day to day issues and plan for the furture. The following roles are performed throughout the year and if you have the skills, we'd love to hear from you!

Chair- To lead the monthly meeting, collect reports, be a wise head and steady the ship.

Vice Chair - The Grant Hunter - There are grants out there; it's just knowing where to look!

Junior Chair - To lead on all things junior amongst the club. Write monthly report for meetings.

Secretary - Chasing action points amongst the committee to ensure they are completed prior to the next meeting; writing minutes from the previous meeting and sharing them with the committee.

Junior Secretary - To co-ordinate league's, fill in GMS weekly,

Welfare Co-ordinator - The caring side of the club, who completes DBS checks for all helpers, ensures the club's wellbeing and is there with sound ears for any problems that arise. A written monthly report for committee meetings is required.

Ladies Club Captain and Men's Club Captain - The managers of all things ladies and men. They consider their teams like their children and ensure all are happy and working successfully. Write monthly reports for committee meetings.

Treasurer - Monthly financial reports, forecasting and accounts.

Other Volunteer Roles:

Webmaster - the go to person for emails, teamo problems and much more

Fixtures Secretary - The superstar organiser in the background who makes excel spreadsheets into child's play and input all matches into teamo. This is a hugely helpful role but involves no day to day dealing with players.

Social Secretary - The one in charge of the fun part. Do you love to create events and run them?

Sponsorship - Do you have the knack for raising sponsorship? Both seniors and juniors are keen to get sponsorship across the club so we'd love to hear from you.

Team managers - Each team needs someone who makes it tick, organises the matches with oppositions, checks the all important details - right kit, tea's and do we have balls!

Coaches - Senior and junior coaches are needed across the board. If you are keen sportsman or love to encourage, the club needs you. Experience is welcomed but not neccessary - there is no age limit on a coaches journey so do get in touch if you think you'd like to help.

Umpires - Each match can't go ahead without two umpires so these are the backbone of the club, a free England Hockey course is provided to train you up and then we will provide on going support until you are ready to umpire confidently.

Social Media Manager - Do you love the socials? Can you add to our great followers?

The Shed Keeper - Are you Queen of Bibs? Or King of Kit? Super organised and love a tidy?
