The famous Real Ale Train, or RAT as it is affectionately known, returns for 2022 to continue its tradition of serving real ale from the bar car whilst travelling through the Hampshire countryside.
Enjoy a selection of ale at only £3.50 a pint of £2 for a half pint. Two local breweries from Hampshire and the surrounding counties will be on the train, so there will be plenty of choice.
Each ticket includes a FREE pint voucher.
Train departs Alton at 19:00.
It will then travel to Alresford where there will be plenty of time to purchase delicious hot food from the West Country Buffet, including curry, chilli and burgers.
Following completion of two round trips of the line, the train will then return to Alton at 22:30, in time for the 22:44 South Western Railways service to London Waterloo.
